The
14th annual Camp Burton Retreat on Vashon Island will be held
Thursday March 15 through Sunday March 18th, 2007 so be sure
and mark your calendars. This is an unstructured weekend for
spinning, knitting, yakking, eating and walking. Camp Burton
is a short ferry ride from West Seattle, Tacoma or Kitsap County.
It is a camp that overlooks Quartermaster Harbor and has cabins
with heat, carpeted floors, dormitory style and usually 6 to
a cabin with shared bathroom facilities. The food is wonderful
and the people extraordinary. Registration forms with fees will
be in the January Loose Threads. The cost for meals has increased
a dollar a day and the room has increased $2.25 a day from last
year. We will have vendors ready to meet your fiber needs. Hope
