2009 Dances with Wools Conference
Footwear Contest
Start up your wheels, needles, hooks & other tools for the 2009 NWRSA conference footwear contest.
Details:
- Footwear will be defined as something worn below the knee. E.G. socks, shoes, leg-warmers, barefoot sandals, etc.
- People’s choice voting
- 80% handspun / hand-felted to allow for the use of soles / tread / embellishment.
- We’d all love to see the following information on your entry:
- Description of footwear [or what is it anyway?]
- Pattern source, if one was used
- Fiber types
- Techniques used
- Inspiration
- Who / what it is intended or actually fits
- Pairs are optional
- Entry does NOT need to have been made in the past year
- One entry per person
