Two specific grants are available to apply for. Grant applications are open to all members in good standing and are administered on an annual basis. Applicants who have not received funds the previous year will have priority.

Lee Lewis Study Grant: The purpose of this grant is to provide educational support to members and associate members of Northwest Regional Spinner's Association interested in increasing their skills and knowledge of the craft of handspinning through a limeted funding of research and study.

NwRSA Outreach Grant Fund: This grant is to further the education/teaching of spnning in the community, not only to students, but to the institutions themselves (4-H, schools, etc.) to demonstrate that encouraging children in hand crafts has many benefits. The grant is available to any NwRSA member. Funds are specifically and annually set aside for this purpose by the Board of Directors.
